With e-bikes and pedelecs, any additional weight is annoying because it costs human and battery power. <\/em>This is why we have developed very compact torque sensors that are particularly space-saving and lightweight. <\/em>If you want to use our technology, you don’t have to change or stick on any components and you don’t have to reserve generous space around the shaft in the drive.<\/em><\/p>\n

The measurement technology for torque, speed and direction of rotation is at the heart of e-bike drives, whether in the bottom bracket, mid-motor or hub motor (front or rear drive). Via precise measurement on the shaft, the sensor technology creates a unity between rider and e-bike – the basis for a harmonious, jerk-free riding experience.<\/em><\/p>\n

Strong vibrations, dirt or water – nothing disturbs our non-contact sensor technology. This makes our torque sensors ideal for use in e-mountain bikes. Our technology allows manufacturers to leverage new potential and offer high performance in their e-bikes. The sensors may not be visible, but everyone will feel it immediately when the e-drive engages without jerking – uphill or downhill, in any terrain.<\/p>\n

How do e-bikes and pedelecs have to perform? They should drive smoothly and harmoniously – regardless of how intensively the driver pedals. Our torque sensors ensure that electric city bicycles are easy and relaxed to ride as they can be. In the e-bike drive, the sensor does not only record the pure rotary motion, but also the speed and direction of rotation. This also allows for a safe ride. Since our technology works contactless, it does not require maintenance over the entire product lifetime.<\/p>\n

The electric motor has now also arrived in road cycling: Longer distances and more endurance require not only adapted training, but also precise and performant technology. The most important features of an e-road bike are lightness and speed. Due to their design, our sensors are extremely lightweight and can be flexibly integrated into any application. The e-bike becomes smart, recognizing how hard the rider is pedaling and immediately adjusting the electric drive immediately without delay. The result is a harmonious riding experience. Cargo bikes need to be stable and they need to be safe. Also, they need to be comfortable so one can haul cargo long distances without tiring out arms or joints. For cargo e-bikes, we supply the central power sensor that connects the electric drive to the rider via the pedals. Our non-contact technology is robust against dirt and vibrations and ensures an optimal riding experience even with high weight.
