NCTE AG publishes first sustainability report
Munich/Oberhaching, 23.01.2025: NCTE AG has presented its first sustainability report under the motto “Measure the Moment – Impact the Future”. The report documents the company’s comprehensive efforts to integrate ecological, social and economic aspects equally into all business processes and to create long-term sustainable added value for customers, investors and society.
The sustainability strategy is based on four central pillars:
- Holistic approach: NCTE AG is committed to a responsible approach to the environment and natural resources. The aim is to establish sustainable and efficient processes that reduce energy consumption and conserve resources.
- Environmental awareness: The company strives to use energy sustainably and implements specific measures to reduce energy consumption. This includes switching to energy-efficient systems and optimizing production processes.
- Employee development: NCTE AG attaches great importance to a working culture based on respect, diversity, security and personal growth. Through targeted promotion and support, the company creates a motivating and sustainable working environment.
- Customer success: With innovative products and solutions, NCTE supports its customers in achieving their sustainability goals and increasing their economic success at the same time.
The range of measures is particularly impressive for a company of this size – an impression that was confirmed by the ESG assessment of the rating agency Asset Impact 2024. NCTE received a “very good” rating in all three areas of environmental, social and governance.
The key highlights of the report include:
- 50% CO₂ reduction by 2030: through sustainable processes and technologies.
- 100% green electricity by 2026: A clear target for more climate protection in the energy supply.
- 66% electrified company vehicles: Promotion of electromobility within the company.
- Sustainable supply chains: transparency through audits and consistent preparation for the Supply Chain Protection Act.
- Conservation of resources: Over 50% returnable packaging and the use of recycled cardboard contribute to waste reduction.
NCTE’s sensor solutions make a significant contribution to sustainability goals:
- In agricultural technology, precise fertilizer quantity controls enable the protection of soil and water.
- In electromobility, the sensor solutions reduce emissions and increase efficiency.
“Our first sustainability report shows how we take responsibility and work together with our customers and partners to create sustainable solutions,” explains Dr. Jürgen Uebbing, CEO of NCTE AG. “Sustainability is not just a goal, but an opportunity to create long-term value.”
