NCTE to Debut at iVT Expo 2025 in Cologne
Smart Sensor Technology for Off-Highway and Agricultural Applications
Munich/Oberhaching, June 5, 2025 – NCTE AG will celebrate its premiere at this year’s iVT Expo – the leading international trade show for off-highway vehicle components and technologies – on June 11–12, 2025, in Cologne. The company will showcase its intelligent sensor solutions for off-highway and agricultural machinery, with a special focus on its non-contact torque sensors that help manufacturers boost efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
NCTE’s sensors deliver real-time torque and load data – robustly, maintenance-free, and reliably, even under harsh conditions like dirt, vibration, or heat. They are used in construction machinery, fertilizer spreaders, seed drills, balers, harvesters, and tractors. The precise data enables smarter machine operation, reduces wear and tear, and helps detect issues before they lead to failure – forming the basis for predictive maintenance.
One highlight at the booth is the PTO 7300 sensor – a plug-in solution for real-time power measurement at the power take-off shaft, both on test benches and in the field. The sensor requires no mechanical modifications and offers OEMs valuable data to optimize machine control and extend component life.
A practical example shows how NCTE’s sensor technology enhances fertilizer spreaders: by precisely regulating the spinning discs, it enables fertilizer savings of up to 20 percent – a significant step toward more sustainable agriculture.
“Data from within the machine is becoming a decisive factor for both efficiency and sustainability – and that’s exactly what our sensors provide, right at the shaft,” says Tobias Wiesenzarter, Head of Sales at NCTE AG. “We’re excited to present our sensor solutions for the first time at iVT Expo – and to demonstrate the real value they bring to OEMs.”
