In the years since the company was founded in 2003, NCTE has steadily expanded its product portfolio at its current location in Oberhaching near Munich. In addition to a broad product range of standard sensors, we now also offer user-specific solutions. With these, customers from e-mobility, agricultural technology and Industry 4.0 leverage new potentials of their machines and products. Wherever forces act, we help to collect data in a simple way and in real time.

As one of the leading companies in the field of non-contact torque sensor technology, we sell our product portfolio worldwide. In doing so, we are supported by more than 40 trade partners in 35 countries. We want to constantly expand this network of specialist dealers.

Robust measurement technology makes machines and products smarter

NCTE’s standard sensors are used instead of conventional torque sensors in test stands and end-of-line tests. The advantage: The measurement is contact-free based on inverse magnetostriction without cables or wear. The technology can therefore be seen as a complementary solution approach to conventional strain gauge technology.

The measuring ranges are between 0.5 and 25,000 Nm. The accuracy ranges up to 0.1% at speeds up to 10,000 rpm. With the help of magnetic fields, the patented technology measures torque and speed without contact even under the most difficult conditions, with high vibrations, temperatures up to 200 °C or in water and oil. In this way, they operate wear-free in the long term and can be used over the entire service life of the application.

Together with NCTE, the distributors also serve customers locally as implementation partners when it comes to designing new, customized applications.
