NCTE presents its agricultural sensor technology for the first time at the world’s leading trade fair Agritechnica

New plug & play torque sensor PTO 7300 robust against crop juices and stone chips

Munich/Oberhaching, 30.10.2023: NCTE will present its sensor solutions for Agriculture 4.0 for the first time at the world’s largest agricultural technology trade fair, Agritechnica, from Nov. 12 to 18, 2023, in Hall 15, Booth H30. With NCTE’s sensors, agricultural companies easily and reliably harvest real-time data for digital agriculture.

The NCTE technology measures torque and speed on the drive shaft without contact via a magnetic field. This special measurement technology is long-term stable, maintenance-free and insensitive to the harsh environmental conditions in the field such as dirt, vibrations or harvest juices.

The torque signal makes it possible to optimize the operation of agricultural vehicles such as harvesters or balers. In fertilizer spreaders, for example, farmers regulate the discharge rate and not only save raw material costs, but also meet the needs of an increasingly green industry.

Farmers also use sensor technology to monitor the operating status of their machines for predictive maintenance to avoid downtime. For agricultural machinery manufacturers, measurement technology in field tests provides important data for the development of new products.

PTO Sensor 7300 compact and easy to install on the PTO shaft

The focus of the NCTE trade show appearance is the new plug & play torque sensor for the power take-off of tractors. The compact PTO 7300 with the 1 3/8″ 6-piece gearing standard stands for its ease of use: Users can mount the sensor alone without tools between the tractor and the attached agricultural machine.

The PTO sensor features high accuracy up to ± 0.5%, a torque range up to 3000 Nm, integrated speed detection and IP65 protection. With a laptop or via analog output signals, users quickly and easily set up a control loop and adjust their mounted machines as needed.

Visitors can find out more about NCTE’s sensor technology at NCTE at Agritechnica 2023 in Hall 15, Stand H30 (on the Heinzmann stand area).
