NCTE participates in Eurobike 2022 in Frankfurt

Munich/Oberhaching, February 2, 2022: NCTE will present its torque sensor solutions for e-bikes and pedelecs at Eurobike from July 13 to 17, 2022. Trend topics such as cycling, light electric mobility and the mobility revolution are bringing the industry’s leading trade fair, Eurobike, to Frankfurt for the first time on more than 100,000 square meters of exhibition space. One focus this year is on the mobility of the future in cities and metropolitan regions.

NCTE is driving electric Future Mobility in city bikes, cargo bikes, mountain bikes and special-needs bikes with its torque sensors. The measurement technology completes e-bike drives, whether in the bottom bracket, mid-motor or hub motor (front or rear drive). Precisely measuring the rider’s power on the shaft is the basis for a harmonious, smooth ride. NCTE counts companies such as Fazua, Pendix, Fischer and VanRaam among its customers.

The e-bike industry has benefited more than almost any other from the pandemic: According to the Zweirad-Industrie-Verband (ZIV), an estimated 1.2 million e-bikes were sold nationwide in the first half of 2021, 9.1 percent more than in the same period last year. They will also be in the spotlight at the Eurobike: In the future, e-bikes are expected to dominate city centers in particular – and not just in commuter traffic. A special area at the trade show is dedicated to cargo bikes.

At the NCTE booth in Frankfurt, visitors can find out exactly how manufacturers are leveraging the new potential of their e-bikes with modern sensor technology.
