Sebastian Müller becomes new Head of Finance & Controlling

Munich/Oberhaching, August 4, 2022: NCTE AG, a specialist in non-contact torque sensor technology, appoints Sebastian Müller as its new Chief Financial Officer. Müller was previously VP Finance, IT & Corporate at Matica Technologies AG in Munich. At NCTE, he has been responsible for finance and controlling since May 1 and is to accompany the implementation of international growth. Müller succeeds Andreas Brunner, who left the company at his own request in March 2022.

“Scope to plan and organise in an internationally growing company”

“The position at NCTE promises a lot of scope to plan and organise as well as dynamism in an internationally growing company. In addition, NCTE’s technology immediately excited me. Finance is not an end in itself, but the basis for establishing the innovative sensor technology worldwide in future markets such as e-bikes, agricultural technology or Industry 4.0,” says Sebastian Müller, new Head of Finance & Controlling at NCTE AG.

Sebastian Müller has held various management positions in finance during his career. At Matica Technologies AG, Müller was Group Director Finance & IT as well as VP Global Finance, IT & Corporate from 2017 to 2021 and, among other things, accompanied the IPO of the Italian subsidiary. Prior to that, Müller, who holds a degree in business administration, was Finance Director at Verifone GmbH for Germany, France and Poland for more than five years. During this time, for example, he managed the integration tasks following the acquisition of Hypercom GmbH. Most recently, Müller took ten months off from his job to focus on full-time parenthood.
