NCTE Signs Memorandum of Understanding for Industry Partnership in Saudi Arabia

Munich/Oberhaching, August 10, 2023: NCTE and the National Industrial Development Center Saudi Arabia announce a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) under which the two will work in partnership in the future. The signing ceremony took place under the patronage of Bandar Alkhorayef, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and Dr. Otto Wiesheu, President of the German-Arab Friendship Society (DAFG), and in the presence of Günter Pröpster, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of NCTE AG.

“Saudi Arabia is investing in various industrial sectors and especially sustainable technologies to reduce its dependence on oil. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding is an important step for NCTE to pave the way for future joint projects in the region,” said Jürgen Uebbing, CEO of NCTE AG.

Sensor technology for future markets

Saudi Arabia has set itself ambitious diversification goals with “Vision 2030”. Huge industrial and infrastructure projects are intended to sustainably pave and consolidate the path of the most populous Gulf state into a post-oil era. To this end, the country wants to increasingly gain know-how from outside.
